Giovanni MaucieriCome in tutte le DAWs anche in Logic Pro 9 è possibile creare delle mandate “Sends”. In Logic Pro 9 basta selezionare tutte le tracce che vogliamo includere nella mandata tenendo premuto il tasto del mouse e trascinando il cursore fino a quando non abbiamo selezionato le tracce che ci interessano. Dopodichè basta cliccare su uno slot libero “Send” (comparirà un menù a tendina che elenca vari Bus) e selezionare Bus 1. Ora abbiamo creato la mandata Aux 1, accanto all’Output Bus. Per mandare il segnale delle nostre tracce basta fare doppio click sulla rotellina accanto allo slot e dare un valore numerico. Scriviamo 0, in questo modo manderemo tutto il segnale alla nostra mandata. Possiamo tranquillamente rinominare la mandata cliccando due volte sul nome di default. Nel video qui sopra, in cui è spiegata la procedura, il progetto su cui lavoriamo è fatto per ospitare delle tracce di batteria, quindi in nostro Aux 1 lo chiameremo “Drums”.
Per mandare una sola traccia all’Aux 1 basta cliccare sullo slot “Sends” e selezionare il “Bus 1”.
Ora possiamo aumentare o diminuire il volume delle tracce, aggiungere effetti (riverbero, delay, equalizzatori, compressori, ecc.), gestire il dosaggio degli effetti mediante un solo “Fader”. Ecco invece la procedura per gestire il volume, il panpot, lo stato di “Solo” e “Mute” di più tracce contemporaneamente…
Per aggiungere gli effetti sulla mandata, dobbiamo comportarci esattamente come faremmo su una semplice traccia. Clicchiamo su uno slot “Insert” libero e scegliamo dalla nostra collezione (nel video alcuni esempi) 🙂
Un’altra cosa importante da ricordare è che la mandata Aux può essere sia mono che stereo. Per trasformarla basta cliccare sul tastino sotto al meter.

As in all DAWs also in Logic Pro 9 is possible to create “Sends”. In Logic Pro 9 you just have to select all the tracks we want to include in the “Send” by holding down the mouse button and dropping the cursor until we have selected all the tracks we want. After let’s click on a “Send” free slot (will appear a drop-down menu that lists various Busses) and select Bus 1. Now we created the Aux 1 send, next to the Output Bus. To send the signal of the tracks to the Aux 1 we have to double click on the wheel next to the slot and input a numeric value. Let’s write 0, so we will send all the signal to our “Send”. We can safely rename the Aux 1 send by double clicking on default name. In the video above, in which is explained the entire procedure, the project on which we are working is made to accommodate drum tracks, so our Aux 1 will be “Drums”.
To send only a single track to Aux 1 you have just to click on the “Send” slot of your track and select “Bus 1”.
Now we can increase or decrease the volume of the tracks, add effects (reverb, delay, equalizers, compressors, etc.), manage the dosage of effects using a single “Fader”. Instead here is the procedure to manage the volume, panpot, the “Solo” and “Mute” state of more tracks at te same time…
To add effects to the “Send”, we have to do exactly the same thing that we would do on a simple track. Let’s click on a “Insert” free slot and choose from our plug-ins collection (in the video some examples) 🙂
Another thing to remember is that the Aux send can be both mono or stereo. To transform it we have just to click on the small button under the meter.
